Anacrusis Music offers an extensive Ensemble Program.

Tier One Ensembles are free as part of the lesson cost, these include Guitar Club, Percussion Ensemble and Choir. These groups meet 1-2x per month.

Tier Two Ensembles are an extra fee. These include Rock Band and Jazz Combo. These groups meet 2-3x per month and perform regularly at community events.

Guitar Club:

These groups meet 1-2x per month and are divided by age and ability. This group is free with lessons and is great for beginners or students who are shy. The group performs at both recitals. 

Percussion Ensemble:

These groups meet 1-2x per month and are divided by age and ability. This group is free with lessons and is great for beginners or students who are shy. The group performs at both recitals. The older/ advanced group participates in the Kiwanis Music Festival.

Choir:

This group meets 2x per month and is free with lessons. It's great for beginner students and students who want to build up their confidence. They perform at both recitals.

Rock Band:

The Rock Bands choose the music they play as a group. Students have the opportunity to play solos, write their own music and/or arrange versions of the songs they like. They meet 2-3x per month and have a minimum of 2 performance opportunities as well as recording a CD of the songs they learn throughout the year.  They also perform at 2 recitals and participate in the Kiwanis Music Festival.

 

Jazz Combo:

The Jazz Combo is a high level ensemble suited for students who have some experience on their instrument. Students in this group learn the fundamentals of Jazz Improvisation, have the opportunity to solo in a group setting and perform at a minimum of 2 concerts. They also have a professional recording of their group and receive a CD in June.
